Project Manager - Heritage and Conservation

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in the heritage and conservation sector. As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of restoration and heritage projects, working closely with our Contracts Managers, Operations Directors, and Commercial Team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee multiple jobs simultaneously, ensuring all work is carried out according to specifications, drawings, and method statements.
  • Coordinate and control subcontractors and suppliers in conjunction with the Contracts Manager/Site Manager.
  • Implement and enforce the company's Health & Safety and Quality Management policies, ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and maintaining appropriate records.
  • Act as a key point of contact with clients, maintaining clear and professional communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project-related correspondence, including valuing works, keeping detailed records, and informing the Contracts Manager/Operations Director of relevant matters.
Requirements:
  • Relevant construction-related qualification, e.g., NVQ Level 6.
  • Relevant CSCS Card.
  • SMSTS certification.
  • Good technical knowledge with a solid understanding of commercials.
  • Preferably have restoration/heritage or masonry experience, but open to candidates from main contracting, refurbishment, or trades backgrounds (e.g., brickwork or carpentry).

  • Competitive salary up to £75,000 with discretionary bonuses, typically around £10,000 per annum (subject to performance).
