Project Group Manager

The Project Group Manager will provide strategic leadership and direction to the Project group, overseeing high-profile projects and a portfolio of customer-facing driving simulator projects and internal R&D initiatives. This role requires a proactive approach to risk management, resource planning, and the continuous improvement of project management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Project group and its teams, including the project delivery team, procurement team, and logistics function.
  • Accountable for a portfolio of projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Develop and implement project management tools, methods, and processes to improve project management capability and efficiency.
  • Lead and develop the procurement team to take a strategic approach to project purchases, balancing cost savings with high-quality standards.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in project/program/portfolio management in a technical and/or engineering environment.
  • Recognised project management qualification and/or affiliation.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, Critical Path, and Lean Six Sigma.
  • Experience in managing and reporting financial elements of projects.
  • Experience in leading and managing teams, and coaching individuals.
