Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Associate Director to join our UK GL Accounting team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for running the day-to-day accounting tasks for the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Approve month-end journals, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and supporting documentation prepared by qualified/part qualified accountants;
  • Analyze monthly and quarterly figures for group consolidation purposes;
  • Manage working capital and produce cash flow forecasts;
  • Support the tax team in preparing VAT and related returns;
  • Support the compliance team in preparing local currency statutory reports, including schedules for statutory and audit purposes;
  • Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices;
  • Participate in other ad-hoc accounting projects as required;
Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or similar);
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel;
  • Advantageous prior experience with multi-currency accounting;
  • Advantageous experience working with ERP systems, preferably Oracle Cloud;
