About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Maintenance Assistant at The Hawthorns Retirement. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retirement properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our properties, including plumbing, heating, ventilation, and electrical systems.
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner, using your knowledge of building systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to source materials and services as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and colleagues, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will possess a strong understanding of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. You will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
