About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team in the East Midlands Division. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of a construction development site, ensuring the provision of safe, efficient, and cost-effective works at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the day-to-day running of the development and provide clear direction to site staff regarding their responsibilities and targets.
  2. Implement and manage health and safety procedures, working closely with Bellway Health and Safety Managers to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  3. Motivate and support site staff, providing training, coaching, and support to improve performance and ensure high-quality work.
  4. Ensure site presentation is maintained at the correct standard at all times.
  5. Deliver production requirements in accordance with technical and planning documentation, and ensure accurate progress returns are updated and sent to the Head of Construction as requested.
  6. Conduct thorough site inspections and ensure remedial work is completed in advance of NHBC key stage inspections.
Requirements
  1. Experience of working as an Assistant Site Manager or Site Manager with a high-volume residential house builder.
  2. Effective team management and leadership skills.
  3. Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety and building legislation.
  4. GCSE Maths and English – Grade C or above (or equivalent).
  5. Valid CSCS card at Site Manager level (or equivalent).
  6. Valid SMSTS certificate.
  7. Valid First Aid certificate.
