We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at NHS Borders Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a small, friendly, and collaborative team providing a comprehensive Psychology service to children, young people, and families across the Scottish Borders.
As a Clinical Psychologist, you will contribute to the delivery of quality evidence-based Psychological Therapies for children and young people with mental health presentations, as well as assessments and interventions for young people with suspected intellectual disability and neurodevelopmental differences.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver quality evidence-based Psychological Therapies for children and young people with mental health presentations
- Assess and intervene with young people with suspected intellectual disability and neurodevelopmental differences
- Contribute to multidisciplinary core tasks, such as referral management, supervision, consultation, training, and service development
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide a comprehensive service to children, young people, and families

RequirementsWe are looking for a qualified Clinical Psychologist with experience in CAMHS or closely related practice in the UK.
Alternatively, we welcome applications from final-year Trainee Clinical Psychologists with a strong interest in a career in CAMHS, learning disability, or neurodevelopmental service provision.
