We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at NHS Borders Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality evidence-based psychological therapies to children and young people with mental health presentations.
- Assess and intervene with young people with suspected intellectual disability.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary core tasks, including referral management, supervision, consultation, training, and service development.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to provide comprehensive care to children, young people, and families across the Scottish Borders.

About Our ServiceNHS Borders Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service is a small, friendly, and collaborative team that provides a comprehensive psychology service to children, young people, and families across the Scottish Borders. We work closely with other professionals and agencies to provide a range of services, including psychological therapies, assessments, and interventions.
LocationWe are based in the CAMHS MDT base at the Andrew Lang Unit in Selkirk, but we work throughout the Borders rural area, providing clinics across the region. We welcome applications from qualified Clinical Psychologists with experience in CAMHS or in closely related practice in the UK, as well as final year Trainee Clinical Psychologists with a strong interest in a career in CAMHS, learning disability, or neurodevelopmental service provision.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. You will also have a strong commitment to evidence-based practice and be able to integrate psychological knowledge and models to meet the needs of our service users.
