HR Support Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our HR team as an HR Helpdesk Administrator. As a key member of our HR Service Centre, you will provide proactive, comprehensive, and professional day-to-day HR administrative support services to all Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust staff.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for providing first-line support by telephone and email, undertaking a variety of time-critical tasks to ensure that staff and managers are supported with any general HR queries. You will be required to keep various systems up to date and accurate in your work, ensuring compliance and data quality.
Key Responsibilities- Provide proactive, comprehensive, and professional day-to-day HR administrative support services to all Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust staff.
- Manage your workload effectively and respond positively to frequent interruptions from telephone calls.
- Act as a point of contact for information and advice on HR policies and procedures within the Trust.
- Communicate information to help promote good practice, ensuring Trust HR policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Support management requirements and work across a number of functions within the HR Service Centre.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Confidence in your communication skills, both on the phone and by email.
- Ability to multi-task and work under your own initiative.
- Knowledge, training, and experience identified in the person specification.
- Experience of working in an environment processing high call volumes and queries via additional avenues.
