Position Overview

Field Service Vehicle Technician / Roadside Assistance Specialist

Location: Flexible within the designated area

Compensation: £16 - £17.40 per hour / £29,700 base salary (Potential increase to £31,800 post-probation) OTE £42,500
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with a rotation of Saturday shifts every three weeks. 35-hour work week.

Key Responsibilities of the Field Service Vehicle Technician / Roadside Assistance Specialist:

  • Collaborate with the breakdown response team to attend to vehicle breakdowns, diagnosing issues effectively. Aim to restore vehicles to operational status or ensure safe transport to the workshop.
  • Identify vehicle problems and provide clear advice to customers regarding their vehicle's condition.
  • Conduct vehicle servicing and general maintenance, including electrical systems and diagnostics.
  • As a representative of the company, deliver outstanding customer service at all times.

Qualifications Required:

  • A Level 2 qualification in light vehicle maintenance (or equivalent)
  • Proven technical, electrical, and diagnostic expertise
  • A strong customer-oriented mindset
  • A valid UK driving license
