Group Actuarial Reporting Lead

About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced actuary to develop strong relationships with stakeholders across various business units within Aviva's Life, General Insurance (GI), and Investment divisions. You will play a key role in shaping financial reporting for our global composite insurer, ensuring accurate and transparent communication of results to investors and the financial markets.
Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business unit teams across Aviva to produce consolidated SII Group financial reporting results.
- Review and challenge submissions from business units, providing insightful analysis of both actual and forecast financial performance.
- Develop comprehensive reporting documents, including the Aviva external results document (the 'Analyst Pack'), Annual Report and Accounts, and internal management information such as audit committee papers that support the financial results.
Skills and Experience We're Looking For
- Qualified or nearly qualified actuary with a strong understanding of financial reporting principles.
- Proven experience in financial or regulatory reporting within the insurance industry.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify key trends.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling you to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences, including senior stakeholders and investors.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
