Position Overview:

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in crafting, executing, and delivering exceptional educational initiatives, which encompass workshops for schools, short-term courses, training sessions for educators, and community engagement events.

Core Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting engaging workshops and activities tailored to diverse age groups and skill levels.
  • Creating and assessing educational workshops and activities that align with the overarching goals and vision of the educational framework.
  • Identifying and nurturing partnerships with industry stakeholders.
  • Ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained to a high standard before and after educational activities, including monitoring and managing inventory as necessary.
  • Executing and reviewing risk assessments for educational activities, adhering to protocols for first aid and incident documentation.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and experience:

  • Ability to represent the organization with professionalism at all times.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Proactive and adaptable approach to achieving set goals.
  • Strong teamwork skills, fostering positive relationships with fellow educational staff.
  • Experience or a strong interest in engaging with young individuals aged 14 and above in education related to Farming and Rural Skills.

Additional Information:

  • This role will primarily be based at a designated location, with occasional travel required.
  • The position entails full-time hours, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the UK is a prerequisite.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends or evenings as necessary for educational or community events, with a system for time off in lieu.
