We are currently looking for a Research Scientist to contribute to our team at RTI Health Solutions (RTI-HS) in Europe. As a researcher focused on Patient-Centered Outcomes Assessment (PCOA), you will collaborate with a dedicated team on various aspects of patient-centered research, assisting pharmaceutical clients in integrating patient experience data into the drug development lifecycle.

Location:
Office-based in Manchester

Responsibilities
In this position, you will have the opportunity to enhance your skills in a supportive environment, assisting with a wide array of PCOA research projects. You will work within small project teams under the guidance of a senior Project Leader.
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Collecting patient-reported survey data
- Conducting qualitative interviews
- Performing literature reviews
- Developing, modifying, and adapting PRO instruments
- Evaluating the quality of PRO instruments
- Creating and supporting PRO measurement strategies
- Providing regulatory guidance and support
Qualifications
- An undergraduate degree in a social science or health-related field
- Excellent proficiency in English (both written and verbal)
- Strong critical analysis skills and attention to detail
- A solid understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
- Experience in conducting literature searches using online databases (e.g., PubMed, PsycINFO)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- A collaborative and committed approach to project work
