Housing Litigation Senior Associate - Prestigious Opportunity

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join our Housing and Regeneration team, which continues to develop and grow. The ideal candidate will have a background in a housing management environment, with a steady flow of new instructions from existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Partners on high-value, technically challenging housing management claims, both litigated and pre-litigated matters.
  • Liaise with barristers and experts to provide exceptional service to our clients.
  • Advocate in Courts or Tribunals, with the capability and readiness to travel across England.

Requirements

  • A qualified solicitor with 5 years of PQE+ (or CILEX equivalent possessing civil rights of audience).
  • Previous experience working on social housing litigation.
  • Understanding of anti-social behaviour claims and injunctions, possession proceedings, housing disrepair, housing related personal injury claims, and statutory nuisance claims.
  • Excellent level of client care, with a high standard of verbal and numerical reasoning.
  • Ability to analyse, evaluate, and communicate information logically.
  • Proficient IT skills.
