Job Overview

Clarence George is seeking a highly skilled Associate Portfolio Manager to join their team. This role is part of the investment function, responsible for deal execution, portfolio management, and trading.

The successful candidate will support portfolio managers in managing the derivatives portion of the portfolio, including interest rate, inflation, and FX. The team operates in a collaborative environment, offering opportunities to work across different areas, such as liquidity and collateral management, and new business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support portfolio managers in derivatives portfolio management
  • Collaborate with the team to manage liquidity and collateral
  • Contribute to new business development and growth
  • Develop and maintain strong technical skills in Python or other advanced languages
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in a buy/sell side environment
  • Strong knowledge of derivatives and experience in rates/fixed income settings
  • Insurance balance sheet knowledge is beneficial but not essential
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a dynamic environment
