Childcare Law Solicitor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Childcare Solicitor to join our team at LAW Absolute on an interim basis.
The ideal candidate will be a UK-qualified solicitor with a strong background in childcare law, possessing a minimum of 12 months' experience in:
- Childcare law matters
- Advocacy before courts, including CMCs, IRHs, PLOs, and Directions Hearings
Key responsibilities will include:
- Handling a personal portfolio of childcare cases
- Representing the council in legal proceedings concerning children in the Family Court
- Advising, negotiating, and drafting legal documents to the decisions of the Client Directorate
- Matters will include Public Law, Care Proceedings, Adoption, Child Protection, and Fostering
The council offers a hybrid working environment, and we are looking for a candidate to start as soon as possible. Previous childcare legal experience is essential.
