In light of ongoing growth, we are seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee and manage alternating day and evening shifts.
This role is a full-time, permanent position, operating on a 2-week rotating schedule of day and evening shifts.The Warehouse Operations Supervisor will serve as a key holder, responsible for securing the premises, overseeing operational activities, managing inventory, and ensuring the well-being of a team of 5 members.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, guiding the shift to meet targets, demonstrating confidence in leadership, and being willing to assist with order picking and packing as necessary.
Key Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operations Supervisor- Efficiently prepare the team for each shift, delegating tasks appropriately and orchestrating pick waves.
- Assemble all packing lists in accordance with customer specifications, ensuring each shipment is palletized correctly and meets transport standards.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization throughout the shift.
- Complete necessary documentation, including the printing of additional unit/box/pallet labels as required for each shipment.
- Perform quality assurance checks to confirm that orders are packed in compliance with established standards.
- Address inquiries related to stock discrepancies, escalating issues to senior management when additional inventory is needed.
- Be proactive in hands-on tasks, including the picking and packing of orders, prioritizing Premium Shipping and Key Client orders as necessary.
- Collaborate with senior management for comprehensive shift handovers.
- Ideally, candidates should have experience as a Warehouse or Stock Control Manager/Supervisor.
- The Warehouse Operations Supervisor position offers a competitive salary, with a shift pattern of 2 weeks alternating between day and evening shifts. This is a full-time, permanent role.
