Position Overview

We are seeking a Pension Investment Specialist to join our team. This role offers a competitive base salary ranging from £35,000 to £42,000 based on experience. You will play a crucial role in delivering essential investment services to our Workplace Pension Clients, members, and internal stakeholders. Responsibilities will encompass comprehensive project management, data migration, and data analysis. You will engage in thorough planning and comprehension of client requirements, including fund setup, transfers, switch activities, and collaboration with third-party administrators to restructure, create, and manage assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary contact for the team by analyzing, managing projects, and overseeing complex investment transaction processes. Resolve and respond to customer inquiries at all levels within service agreements. Utilize supported systems to prioritize your workload and assist colleagues in meeting and exceeding service levels and customer expectations.
  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of fund pricing and mapping across various platforms and products. Utilize this expertise in investment switching, blended funds, and lifestyle profiles to minimize profit and loss occurrences during rework, allocation of contributions, claims, and transfer projects.
  • Comprehend regulatory and product requirements to provide advice and guidance to your team, ensuring compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.
  • When issues arise, utilize your experience and data to identify root causes and implement preventative measures. Share insights and solutions with colleagues and leadership, managing customer escalations effectively.
  • Take ownership of your professional development, utilizing external insights to maintain high standards of business process knowledge, product expertise, and customer service.
  • Communicate effectively and proactively manage relationships with stakeholders and peers, sharing best practices while remaining open to feedback and learning opportunities.
  • Identify and implement improvements to team processes and performance, coaching peers and raising issues with team leadership. Always act as a role model, prioritizing the needs of colleagues, customers, and clients.
