Maintenance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CV Consulting Ltd. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production machinery and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide electrical and mechanical support to ensure the performance of all production machinery and electrical systems.
  2. Promptly attend to automated machinery failures and improvement/upgrade work.
  3. Support the installation, modification, and commissioning of process equipment.
  4. Engage in general Continuous Improvement activities.
  5. Minimize machine downtime.
  6. Prevent manufacturing lost time.
  7. Achieve the Preventative Maintenance Plan.
  8. Record all maintenance activities in the CMMS system, MAXIMO.
  9. Conduct planned maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within a manufacturing environment and be able to demonstrate an understanding of manufacturing processes and experience with manufacturing systems, related controls, and instrumentation systems.

Requirements:
  1. BTECH/ONC qualification as a minimum in an Electrical discipline or Multi-skilled Engineering qualification.
  2. C&G 2330 Level 3 Electro-technical certificate combined with NVQ 3 Electrical Maintenance.
  3. Time served apprentice.
  4. HNC level in electrical, mechanical, or production maintenance engineering.
