TimePlan Education is in search of a committed and empathetic 1:1 Individual Support Assistant to become a part of our primary education team.
This role presents a unique opportunity to significantly impact the lives of students requiring personalized assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide essential support to children who need additional help to succeed in an educational environment.
- Collaborate closely with our learning support team and may be assigned to various educational stages, engaging in class activities, small group sessions, or offering 1:1 assistance as necessary.
- Work collaboratively with fellow teaching assistants to enhance student learning experiences.
- Assist in planning and delivering a range of activities tailored to the developmental needs of children, ensuring compliance with educational standards and addressing individual requirements.
- Engage with parents, guardians, and relevant professionals, keeping them updated on children's progress and activities.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
- Take responsibility for evaluating and documenting the needs of assigned children.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with or caring for primary-aged children.
- Familiarity with Special Educational Needs (SEN), either personally or professionally.
- Possession of an Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
