Job Title: Apprenticeship - Workshop Engineer

Anton Paar, a leading provider of laboratory instrumentation and services, is seeking a highly skilled Workshop Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the workshop team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, calibration, and repair of complex instruments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of instruments to ensure optimal performance
  • Diagnose and repair complex instrument issues using technical expertise and troubleshooting skills
  • Provide quality technical support to customers via phone and email, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of issues
  • Manage inventory of spare parts and maintain accurate records of work completed
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the organization and delivery of high-quality service to customers
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electronics or electrical engineering disciplines
  • Experience in maintaining complex equipment and providing technical support
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluent English language skills
