Pharmacy Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and strategic pharmacy technician to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As an Advanced Pharmacy Technician, you will provide professional leadership on matters linked to Pharmacy Projects, working closely with the Pharmacy Team to ensure the safe and effective management of drug stock levels and information on the pharmacy computer system EPIC and in the Trust Automated Dispensing Cabinets (ADCs).
Key Responsibilities:- Support the operational management and maintenance of accuracy of drug stock levels across the Trust and information on the Pharmacy Epic and Omnicell system.
- Assist and deputise for the Omnicell System Administrator with all Omnicell related management, including monitoring of the Omnicell shared Email inbox, assisting with Omnicell installations, and contributing to the optimisation of the Omnicell service.
- Investigate and correct discrepancies across dispensary/stores/ward areas in a timely fashion.
- Act as a technical systems manager along with the senior band 6 technician in Procurement/Distribution for the automated dispensing systems (robot & Omnicell) to ensure the systems are used to their full potential.
- Professional registration with General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Mandatory CPD to maintain fitness to practice
- Significant experience of working in a Pharmacy hospital environment
- Ability to plan, organize and develop systems to improve service delivery
