Job Summary
As a key member of the VLT Logistics team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the performance of our modern vehicle fleet. This includes diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on HGVs to prevent breakdowns and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Diagnose and repair complex technical issues with HGVs, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Collaborate with the Transport Manager to develop and implement strategies for improving fleet performance and reducing maintenance costs.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments, technologies, and best practices in HGV maintenance and repair.
