The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, managing resources, and promoting a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of perioperative practitioners, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safe and effective management of the operating department.
  • Manage resources, including staff, equipment, and supplies, to ensure the efficient operation of the department.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of perioperative practitioners.

Requirements
  • Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner with significant experience in the perioperative environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, and guidelines, including those related to patient safety and quality improvement.
