European Road Freight Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced European Road Freight Team Leader to support, lead, and develop a team of road freight operators. The successful candidate will oversee the efficient running of the European Operations department, ensuring seamless cargo booking, routing, tracking, documentation, Customs clearance, and compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a small team of operational staff to manage daily European operations
  • Oversee all aspects of freight operations, including cargo management, routing, and tracking
  • Develop key service relationships with customers, colleagues, and overseas agents to provide efficient and effective service
  • Ensure good internal communication between key departments, Customs, Transport, and Warehouse to facilitate efficient loading and transport of customer goods
  • Resolve and manage customer/agent queries courteously and efficiently
  • Work with the team to align and streamline internal processes
