About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join our dynamic and supportive team in Southport. As a key member of our Clinical Negligence team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting a variety of cases, working independently and collaboratively with the team to ensure that all matters are handled with a proactive, client-focused, and commercially minded approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support a caseload of clinical negligence cases
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure that all matters are handled with a proactive, client-focused, and commercially minded approach
  • Provide support, guidance, and assistance to junior team members
  • Contribute to proactive and commercial case management and progression across the team
  • Support the Team Leader/Head of Department in ensuring the delivery of the team's financial and performance KPIs
Requirements
  • Recent experience of handling a caseload of clinical negligence cases
  • 5 years+ PQE or equivalent experience in Clinical Negligence
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills
  • Excellent IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office packages, Proclaim, and Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong commercial awareness within a legal environment
  • Ability to work well with junior team members, providing coaching and mentoring
  • Flexible and willing to commit to achieving results and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent client care skills
