About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to join our team at Excell Supply Ltd. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with various needs, including Autism, Down Syndrome, and visual or hearing impairments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with diverse needs
  • Promote positive behavior and manage challenging situations
  • Assist students in their learning and development
  • Offer feedback to teachers on student progress
  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Perform administrative tasks as required
Requirements
  • A caring and nurturing personality
  • Ability to build rapport with children and manage challenging behavior
  • Experience working with children on a 1:1 basis (advantageous)
  • Teaching Assistant qualification (ideal but not essential)
  • Experience working with Primary age children (preferred)
