Energy Surveyor Role

At Best.Energy, we're committed to creating a built environment that's more energy efficient, intelligent, and sustainable. As a Freelance Energy Surveyor, you'll play a critical role in supporting our clients' energy saving and Net Zero journeys.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site-based energy surveys to evaluate energy-consuming equipment, including heating, lighting, and air conditioning systems.
  • Assess the efficiency of energy-consuming equipment and identify energy-saving opportunities.
  • Compose detailed energy survey reports that align with ESOS compliance standards.
  • Arrange and prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) before site visits.
  • Provide recommendations for energy efficiency improvements to support clients' Net Zero targets.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in conducting site-based energy surveys is essential.
  • A clean driving license is required for travel and overnight stays.
  • IT literacy, particularly in using CRM systems and report-writing software.
  • A proactive approach with a passion for sustainability and energy efficiency.
