We are looking for an experienced professional to work collaboratively with children, families, and young people to provide accessible and coordinated support. As a Family Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a caseload of schools and families to identify young people who may require support
  • Building relationships with schools and families to understand their specific needs and challenges
  • Providing direct work and interventions through our Whole Family Approach process
  • Working with parents, families, and partners to achieve positive outcomes for all children and young people

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working with children, young people, and/or families
  • Emotional resilience and a passion for supporting diverse people in our communities
  • NVQ level 3 Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • Relevant organizational knowledge of systems, procedures, and policies associated with operating a client-focused service
