Job Title: Financial Leadership Position

Job Summary:

First Choice Homes Oldham is seeking an experienced and skilled Financial Leadership Position to lead the Finance team in delivering the organization's financial strategy. The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial planning, treasury management, and internal and external audit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Lead the Finance team in providing financial guidance and support to the Executive Leadership team and other Heads of Service.
  • Manage and develop a team of financial professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality financial services.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including Housing SORP and RSH Financial Returns.
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including external auditors and regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

  • CCAB qualified with a record of CPD in finance.
  • Experience of financial planning, treasury management, VAT and tax compliance and internal and external audit.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Housing SORP and RSH Financial Returns (desirable).
