Robotics Applications Engineer

A leading manufacturer of material handling equipment, automation & robotics is seeking a graduate with a strong knowledge of programming and an interest in robotics to join their global organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and commission driverless systems (AGV's) at customer sites across the UK & Ireland
  • Test and validate these solutions and undertake proof of concept configuration
  • Use programming languages such as KIWI, C, C++, MATLAB or Python
  • Design customer material flow processes in relation to AGV's
  • Assess and implement damage analysis
  • Provide customers with technical support post sale
Requirements

The company has a preference for an individual with a qualification in a programming language, to include KIWI, C, C++, MATLAB or Python, as this will be essential for the requirements of the role.

The role would suit a recent graduate with a degree in robotics, mechatronics or similar. It is essential for the requirements of the role that you hold a full, clean UK driver's license and be willing to spend extensive time travelling the UK. There will also be requirements to travel to Europe on occasion.
