Job Title: Senior Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientist to join our team at Werfen. As a Senior Scientist, you will be responsible for leading scientific research and development projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving innovation in our diagnostic solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead scientific research and development projects, including planning, execution, and delivery of results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research and development, engineering, and quality assurance, to drive innovation and improve product development.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in scientific principles, theories, and concepts related to our diagnostic solutions.
  • Communicate complex scientific information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our products and processes.
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in a relevant scientific field, such as chemistry, biology, or physics.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in scientific research and development, with a strong background in analytical instrumentation, UV polymer curing, and electrochemical sensors.
  • Strong understanding of chemical processes and their application to electrochemical sensors.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and driving innovation.
