Job Title: Senior Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientist to join our team at Werfen. As a Senior Scientist, you will be responsible for leading scientific research and development projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving innovation in our diagnostic solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead scientific research and development projects, including planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and implement new scientific methods and techniques to improve diagnostic accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct research and development in areas such as hemostasis, acute care diagnostics, transfusion, autoimmunity, and transplant.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest scientific literature and technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation in our diagnostic solutions.
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in a relevant scientific field, such as chemistry, biology, or physics.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in scientific research and development, with a strong track record of innovation and achievement.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex scientific data and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
