Lift Roping Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lift Roping Specialist to join our team at REClifts. As a Lift Roping Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of passenger lifts, with a focus on roping and rigging.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and select the correct materials for each task
  • Rig up lifts correctly and replace ropes as needed
  • Terminate ropes in their anchorages and replace chains, diverters, and traction sheaves as required
  • Complete all training and work-related instructions in a timely manner
  • Isolate lift power supply and perform Lockout/Tagout procedures
  • Transport materials and equipment safely from vehicle to job site
  • Supervise the Roping Engineer's Assistant and ensure the correct use and maintenance of PPE
Requirements:
  • Driving License - Essential
  • NVQ - Desirable
