Position Overview:

This role offers a pathway from temporary to permanent employment, providing stability and growth opportunities within the logistics sector.


Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:30
  • Alternating Saturday mornings, 08:30 - 12:30 (mandatory)

Compensation:

£11.70 per hour with an average of 42 hours per week, including a 1-hour unpaid break per shift.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Generating picking lists for order fulfillment
  • Accurately selecting items from inventory based on orders
  • Managing warehouse tasks including packing and processing shipments
  • Utilizing handheld scanning devices for order accuracy
  • Performing manual handling and lifting tasks, up to 30kg
  • Delivering goods to customers, typically involving 10-12 stops per route

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Experience in warehouse operations with occasional driving duties
  • Valid UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment
  • Able to lift weights of up to 30kg
  • Comfortable with driving for extended periods
