Become a Key Player as an Offshore Service Engineer

James Fisher and Sons plc is on the lookout for skilled Offshore Service Engineers to enhance our team on a long-term basis. This position requires regular offshore assignments and travel, demanding a high level of flexibility and adaptability. As an Offshore Service Engineer, your primary duties will include operating, servicing, and maintaining our rental fleet in accordance with corporate maintenance protocols.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Prepare machinery to fulfill Hire Office specifications
  • Ensure compliance with service protocols and safety regulations
  • Oversee the upkeep of company assets both onshore and offshore
  • Complete service documentation and necessary reports
Required Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

  • NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Qualification or equivalent
  • Proven experience in offshore or international settings
  • Proficient in computer applications (Word & Excel)
  • Completed Offshore Survival training

Preferred:

  • Training in quality assurance practices
  • Experience as a diesel or steam boiler technician
