About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Inflammatory Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic Dermatology Nursing team at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with dermatology conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate expert nursing care for patients with dermatology conditions.
  • Support the phototherapy service and contribute to the development of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Liaise with the medical team to ensure patients receive prompt and effective care in line with guidelines.
  • Provide education to patients and their families on treatment options and disease management.
  • Contribute to service improvement and delivery of excellent nursing care within the division of QEH medicine.
Person Specification
  • Registered Nurse Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Teaching and assessment course or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of working within the multidisciplinary team and liaising with internal and external agencies.
  • Diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures and post-procedure care.
  • Experience of care for patients with inflammatory skin disease and those requiring biologic therapy and phototherapy.
