Deputy Manager Children's Home Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team at Esland. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our children's home, providing exceptional care and support to our young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and support to our young people.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring the needs of our young people are met.
  • Manage staff rotas and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet the needs of our young people.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young people.
  • Ensure the home is run in accordance with Esland's policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Experience of supervising staff in a care role.
  • Experience in children's residential care.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Services (or equivalent).
  • Full, UK driving licence.
