We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care and Support Professional to join our team at Sense, the National Deafblind and Rubella Association. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing outstanding care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, sensory impairments, communication difficulties, and behaviors that challenge.
Key Responsibilities- Provide person-centered care and support to individuals, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized support plans.
- Participate in a rolling 4-week rota, working day and afternoon shifts, including every other weekend.
As a Support Worker at Sense, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and award-winning team, providing a range of services to individuals with complex needs. We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.25 (inclusive of allowances) and a comprehensive training program to support your professional development.
Requirements- Experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities, sensory impairments, or other complex needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
- Commitment to providing person-centered care and support.
