- Manage Financial Processes: Oversee financial processes, including orders, invoices, payments, and procurement, ensuring adherence to procedures and best value principles.
- Handle Daily Financial Operations: Manage daily financial operations, such as petty cash management, sales invoicing, banking, and payroll processing.
- Produce Financial Reports: Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly management accounts and variance analysis.
- Support Budget Holders: Collaborate with management and staff to provide administrative support and ensure value for money.
- Enhance Efficiency: Enhance the efficiency of our operations, advising relevant bodies as needed.
- Oversee Site Management: Oversee site management, including health and safety, and manage relevant staff.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with policies related to child protection, data protection, and safeguarding, maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Participate in Training: Participate in training and adapt to the changing needs of the organization, performing additional duties as required.
- Qualifications: A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, and AAT Qualification (or studying towards).
- Skills: Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards, excellent numerical skills, and attention to detail.
- Experience: Experience working in a busy finance team and proficiency in using financial software and systems.
- Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Annual Salary Range: £27,000 to £30,000.
