Reporting directly to the Site Engineering Manager, this role will assist in the daily oversight of engineering functions and work closely with the Reliability & Control Systems Engineer, as well as the Reliability & CI Projects Engineer. The primary responsibilities include ensuring adherence to statutory, mandatory, and legal standards, providing safe and effective asset management for equipment, services, utilities, and facilities, and delivering robust engineering support to operational and site teams around the clock.
Key Responsibilities:
We seek a proactive and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about optimizing machinery and equipment for peak performance. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment where maintaining product quality and compliance with food safety standards is critical. Responsibilities include:
- Enhancing machinery and equipment efficiency to prevent production interruptions and uphold product quality.
- Ensuring all maintenance activities align with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
- Developing and managing preventative maintenance strategies to mitigate equipment failure risks and prolong equipment lifespan.
- Providing continuous engineering support to operations and site teams 24/7.
- Coordinating and supervising repairs to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Managing spare parts and supplies to guarantee availability when required.
- Training maintenance personnel on procedures and safety protocols to foster a safe working environment and achieve effective resolutions.
- Overseeing the maintenance budget to ensure cost-effective operations without compromising safety and quality.
The successful candidate will possess substantial experience in a similar managerial role, along with excellent IT and communication skills, both verbal and written. The ability to manage stakeholder expectations and a keen attention to detail are essential.
