Job Title: Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our thriving Engineering & Manufacturing department at Michael Page Engineering & Manufacturing. The successful candidate will be tasked with maintaining and improving manufacturing machines in our FMCG industry.

About the Role
  • Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime and production losses.
  • Implement improvements to enhance machine performance and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering & Manufacturing team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Keep detailed records of machine maintenance and repairs to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive innovation and excellence.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the Manchester manufacturing site by providing expert maintenance and repair services.
Requirements
  • A solid background in Engineering & Manufacturing, ideally within the FMCG industry.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions.
  • Experience in performing routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
