Student Support Specialist - Enhanced Support Base or Wellbeing Hub

Salary: £23, - £23, (pro rata for part-time & sessional)
Hours: 30 per week, 39 weeks sessional

We are seeking to recruit two Student Support Specialists: one for the Enhanced Support Base dedicated to assisting young individuals with complex special needs, and the other in the Wellbeing Hub focused on supporting young people with emotional, social, and/or behavioral challenges. Please be aware that the role in the Enhanced Support Base will involve elements of personal care. Both specialists will collaborate within established and experienced teams, receiving ample support in terms of training and professional development. This position involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. The successful candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. For individuals who have spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be necessary. This check must be provided. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the role will be contingent upon the satisfactory outcome of both pre-employment checks.
