About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity for someone with similar experience and a passion for food who wishes to develop their skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will work with high-quality fresh ingredients in a modern kitchen, preparing meals for the Trinity community, including students, staff, and Fellows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Head Chef and Shift Head Chefs in the production of innovative and high-quality dishes.
- Work with a team to prepare meals for the Trinity community, including students, staff, and Fellows.
- Lead by example and inspire junior staff to achieve high standards.
- Develop and maintain a good working knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene practices.
- Ensure awareness of special diets and nutrition.
- Contribute to the development of menus and recipes.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in a busy commercial environment.
- NVQ level 2/3 in Catering or equivalent.
- Certificate in Food Hygiene.
- Strong work ethic and ability to lead by example.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Benefits:
- Permanent full-time role with a salary of £28,797 per annum.
- Shift allowance of £3,455 per annum.
