Job Title: Quality Assurance Analyst

Description

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and test cases to ensure high-quality products for users.
  • Estimate the work involved in testing cycles and ensure that testing produces a high level of quality for product releases.
  • Test product documentation against software to ensure accuracy and fitness for purpose.
  • Hands-on experience with software testing lifecycle, including functional testing, integration testing, UAT, and OAT.
  • Document issues found and track them through internal defect tracking tools.
  • Advise on and provide support for integration testing of new software applications.
  • Liaise with business analysts, development teams, and project managers on all aspects of testing.
  • Participate in review and analysis of bug reports and perform regression testing.
  • Recreate and help identify and resolve customer-reported issues.
  • Report on the status of QA to project stakeholders.

Experience/Competences:

Essential:

  • Understanding of black box test techniques, such as equivalence partitioning and boundary value analysis.
  • Able to write and execute test plans, test scripts, and test cases.
  • Able to define scope and objectives of all levels of testing.
  • Able to work independently and take ownership in ensuring high-quality products for users.
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Working knowledge and experience with FIX messaging.
  • Experience in test automation and automated testing frameworks.

Desired:

  • Knowledge of non-functional testing.
  • Understanding of the trade lifecycle.
