Main Responsibilities

As a key member of our team at Trevett Project Services, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems. This includes coordinating with our Contract Manager to ensure that all PPMs are completed on time, conducting regular plant checks, and identifying any faults or issues that need to be addressed.

Key Tasks
  1. Electrical System Maintenance: Diagnose and rectify faults in electrical systems, either through self-delivery or by liaising with external contractors to provide a prompt and efficient service.
  2. Customer Liaison: Liaise with customers on site to ensure their needs are met to a satisfactory standard.
  3. Emergency Response: Respond to and rectify site emergencies, mainly during shift work hours and occasionally outside of core hours.
  4. Maintenance and Repairs: Carry out routine maintenance and repairs to site mechanical equipment, such as pumps and valves, and complete documentation and maintenance records as directed.
  5. Stock Management: Ensure suitable spares and materials are always available for both planned and unplanned maintenance, maintaining tidy storerooms and effective stock management.
  6. Health and Safety: Recognize and escalate possible issues that may result in further damage, such as leaks, loss of power, fire risks, and exposure to H&S non-compliance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a flexible approach to work and attendance, committing to work as a team and individually as tasks require. You will also need to assist with current electrical works as directed by the Operations Manager or Extra Works Manager, and actively keep all relevant qualifications and memberships up to date.

You will be expected to comply with company and statutory requirements regarding health, safety, fire, and hygiene documents, and to establish good working relationships with employees and sub-contractors.
