We are seeking a skilled Compaction Driver to join our team at Ward, a leading waste management and recycling business. As a Compaction Driver, you will play a key role in our operations, transporting materials from our customers to our processing sites.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate with your planner and follow daily schedules to ensure efficient material transportation.
- Liaise with customers and clients on site, maintaining good relationships and providing excellent customer service.
- Conduct thorough pre-start vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
- Report any vehicle defects or issues to the maintenance team.
- Follow company Safe Operating Procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Take care of your vehicle, including regular cleaning and maintenance.
- Complete daily checks and paperwork to ensure accurate records.
- LGV Cat C License (Class 2)
- Current DCPC Card
- Good geographical knowledge
- Tachograph/digital smart card operation
- Continuous training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
