The Shires - Oakham is excited to present a unique opportunity for a dedicated educator to become part of our team. In this role, you will engage with students aged 11-18 who have autism and additional educational needs within our Independent Special School. Your primary focus will be on delivering a tailored curriculum to small groups, emphasizing individual student progress and essential life skills.
Core Responsibilities:
- Facilitate stimulating lessons for students who are performing below the expected age level.
- Assist students in reaching their Education Health Care Plan objectives.
- Work collaboratively within a supportive environment, maintaining a favorable staff-to-student ratio for personalized attention.
- Engage in staff wellness initiatives and participate in team discussions.
Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience Level: This position is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECT).
