Trust Fellow in Pediatric Critical Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Physician to join our team as a Trust Fellow in Pediatric Critical Care at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of pediatric critical care transports to ensure safe, efficient, and cohesive transfers from referring centers to accepting intensive care units.
- Provide expert advice at initial referral calls, coordinate transports, and stabilize patients to ensure continuity of intensive care during transfers.
- Participate in organizational aspects of transport medicine, including audit, quality assurance projects, presentation at transport forums, and research in retrieval medicine and pediatric intensive care.
- Collaborate with a team of 12 specialist registrars/clinical fellows and advanced clinical practitioners to provide high-quality patient care.
- Primary medical qualification (MBBS or equivalent)
- Full GMC registration (obtained by designated start date)
- MRCP, MRCPCH, or equivalent
- Accredited to The Royal Colleges of Paediatrics and Child Health and/or Anaesthesia or equivalent
- Two years SpR equivalent training or equivalent 6 months experience in a tertiary PICU or higher pediatric anaesthesia training PICU experience
- Experience of teaching and presenting
- Experience of audit activities
- Understanding of principles of clinical governance
- Flexible working arrangements
