About the Role:

As Director of Advancement, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of The Courtauld. You will lead and inspire a team dedicated to securing philanthropic support for the Institute's world-renowned art research, teaching, and exhibitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to achieve ambitious financial goals.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with a diverse range of donors, including individuals, foundations, and corporations.
  • Lead major gift campaigns and secure significant funding for key initiatives.
  • Oversee all aspects of advancement operations, including donor relations, communications, and events.
  • Collaborate closely with academic departments and senior leadership to align fundraising efforts with The Courtauld's strategic priorities.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of success in fundraising within the arts or higher education sector. You will have exceptional interpersonal skills, a passion for The Courtauld's mission, and a strategic mindset.
