**Financial Leadership Opportunity**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at Concept Onyx Recruitment. As a key member of our financial leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial future of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Leadership: Lead the financial management of our clients, working closely with executive management to develop and implement budget strategies that optimize costs and identify future growth opportunities.
  • Project Financial Control: Take charge of complex project finances, ensuring accurate milestone forecasting, monitoring, and timely payments.
  • Risk & Compliance: Manage financial risks effectively and ensure our clients remain compliant with all regulations, maintaining their financial health and integrity.

Requirements:

  • Expertise: A solid understanding of management accounting principles, budgeting, and financial forecasting. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is essential, and experience with SAP B1 and Business Intelligence reporting is a plus.
  • Industry Insight: Experience in the defence sector or similar industries, with knowledge of UK MOD contracting processes being highly advantageous.
  • Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance, or a related field. A professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA) is preferred, and additional qualifications like an MBA or a master's in accounting would set you apart.
  • Eligibility: You must have a valid driving licence, passport, and be eligible for Security Clearance from the UK Defence Vetting Agency.
